Every item in Thorn’s Reality Emporium comes with an accompanying Instagram and Snapchat filter that interacts with the item. The products have QR codes linking to the effects, however you can always find them here in case the QR code print becomes damaged.

What's Augmented Reality?
Augmented Reality (AR) is when a digital layer is added onto the real world. The best example of this is filters on social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok. AR allows us to make every day objects interactive in so many ways, both useful and ridiculous. It's basically the closest thing we have to magic!
AR effects can be anything from makeup to art to mini games and is a fast growing technology.
How do I access the AR effect that comes with the product?
The AR effects are hosted on social media platforms as filters/lenses. Specifically, Instagram and Snapchat. Your product should have a QR code on it somewhere - scan it and it will take you to your product's page on the Thorn's Reality Emporium website, where you will find direct links to the effects. Once the effect is loaded, point your camera at the image on the product and watch the magic happen.
If something has happened to the QR code, you can always find your effect on the website in the effects catalogue. If you still can't find it, contact me through Etsy, social media or at hello@realityemporium.com with a photo or description of the item and I will find it for you.
